About BMO Steel - How we started and what we do

Having worked as both workshop and site manager in the steel industry, Sean Hendry was inspired to run his own steel fabrication business. In February 2009 his dream became a reality. He called his business BMO Steel Fabrication as it holds certain meaning for him. BMO stands for Bonus Melior Optimus, which is Latin for Good Better Best. When Sean started in the steel industry he found he was Good at it, experience helped him to improve and he became Better, starting his own business was the Best thing he had done so far. And so BMO Steel Fabrication was born.

Determined to maintain a personal touch with his customers, Sean endeavours to keep his business as a small to medium enterprise and believes in quality over quantity. BMO Steel has worked for some of KZN’s largest construction firms, some prestigious furniture manufacturers and has done a wide range of private contracts too.
